[LVN → LUN]
moon or white
Latin luna (moon) is allegedly a
reflection of Indo-European root leuk (light, brightness).
לבנה Li[V]aNaH means moon (Isaiah24:23;
Songs6:10) or white (Leviticus13:4).
ן לב La[V]aN
means white, as the silvery moon (Genesis30:35) see ALBINO.
LVN →LUN, as LAUNDRY is from Latin lavare to
wash or whiten, and even clearer from the same ן לב Lamed-Bhet-Noon.
The LK Indo-European root is from דלק DALahQ (to burn see LIGHT).
Between two more distinct conconants, the Edenic Bhet has faded into a vowel.
LUNAR CAUSTIC (a silver nitrate) is silvery
or white, like the moon, not bright or light-giving (as the Indo-European root doctors
prefer). LUNA, LUNATE, LUNATIC and SUBLUNARY are true cognates of LUNAR, but
not LEA, LIGHT, LUCIFER, LUMINOUS, LUSTER, LYNX and OUNCE (as the AHD
suggests). The Igbo moon in Nigeria shouldnt be far, but onwa reverses
the Bhet-Noon/ BH-N and drops the Lamed/L. "Moon" in various
dialects of Malay employ Hebrew's LVN: bulan, fhulan, phulan,
and wulan. Fijian vulavula means moon . A 2-1-3 metathesis
of the Edenic root is common in Austronesia: Indonesian: bulan,
Javanese: rembulan, wulan, Balinese:bulan,
Sundanese:bulan, Madurese:bulen, Sawu:waru,
Toraja:bulan, Acehnese:buleuen, Tetun:fulan,
Tagalog:buwan, Hiligaynon:bulan, Fijian:vula
and Malagasy:volana, L(B)N or BLN also appears in words for
month an Monday. The Moon Day of French, lundi, and Italian, lunedi,
has no D in Spanish, lnes, or Rumanian, luni.
The sense of white =
moon is seen in the Japanese moon, tsuk, from TSa[K]H, bright, clear, the
Jewish Aramaic verb of shining and glowing, and ultimately from the
Tsadi-Het-Het term in Lamentations 4:7 translated as white. While
whiteness is at ALBINO, a different-sounding source is needed for WHITE see
Isaiah 24:23 וחפרה הלבנה ובושׁה החמה כי־מלך יהוה צבאות בהר ציון ובירושׁלם ונגד זקניו כבוד׃
Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed; for the LORD of hosts will reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before His elders shall be Glory.
Song of Solomon 6:10 מי־זאת הנשׁקפה כמו־שׁחר יפה כלבנה ברה כחמה אימה כנדגלות׃
Who is she that looketh forth as the dawn, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, terrible as an army with banners?
