Roots

This is a clearcontinuation of the PART terms above, but specifically about space-breakers or PARITIONS.  A separation or partition in Middle Hebrew is (Ha)PHRaDaH.  The root is Pey-Resh-Dalet.  The confounding or diversification of the Proto-Earth language of Eden is the impetus for the national PARTITION in the PaRahD division of Genesis 10:5.

Branches

A shorter “wall” word, like Italian parete, helps us screen off the “component” PRT terms in the entry above.

A פרדס PaRD eS , orchard (Songs 4:13), is a PARTITIONED, private PARADISE.  As an otherwordly PARADISE, not just an orchard, the Old Persian pairidaeza  and Greek paradeisos  added the idolatrous theology.   The  פרד PRD first element is a “no trespassing” sign indicating that the PARADISIAC park  is set aside,    מפרד MooPHRahD and  פרטי PRaDTeeY, private.  For the second, D-S element of verdure  – see SOD.
